Sarah Shuel, described as “a force” in the music industry by 303 Magazine, is the Founder and President of Sonder Music Management, bringing a decade of invaluable experience to the forefront.
With roots tracing back to Fort Rucker, Alabama, Sarah's journey has taken her across diverse landscapes, from the vibrant music scenes of Chicago and Rome to the bustling streets of Beijing. Yet, it's her heart's home in Denver, Colorado, where she currently resides, deeply embedded in the city's rich musical tapestry.
Sarah's immersion in the music world began with the band Float Like a Buffalo, where she honed her skills and carved her path in artist management. However, her trajectory wasn't confined to just one aspect of the industry. Previously, she ventured into marketing roles within the tech and finance sectors before realizing her true calling lay in fostering the live music community.
In 2020, Sarah co-founded Rocky Mountain Virtual, a groundbreaking online music festival and art showcase, bridging distances and bringing artists and enthusiasts together in a digital sphere. Alongside this innovative endeavor, she co-spearheaded Speakeasy 303, curating unforgettable experiences that melded renowned musicians with intimate settings, complemented by carefully crafted menus and cocktails.
Her dedication to the music scene extends beyond management and event curation. Sarah's footprint can be found in festivals like ARISE Music Festival and Bhakti Fest, where her expertise and passion for live music left an indelible mark.
Sarah is also the visionary behind Sarah Shuel Photography, a multifaceted endeavor specializing in capturing the essence of bands, individuals, and products alike. From promotional shoots to intimate portraits, her lens weaves stories and captures moments in vibrant detail.
Outside her professional pursuits, Sarah finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors, pursuing her love for landscape photography and hiking. Yet, her true joy comes from immersing herself in the live music scene, sharing these experiences with her fiancé, Cory. No adventure is complete if it’s not alongside her faithful companions, Bruce the dog, and her cats, Cola and Rue.
