We’re seeking a Director of Booking for the Sonder Music Management Team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the music scene and has experience booking bands at local, mid size, and large venues in Colorado and across the United States. Experience booking in Canada, Europe, and Japan is a bonus! The Director of Booking will play a key role in our dynamic team.
Collaborating closely with Sarah Shuel and Mac Bowman, the Director of Booking will manage the booking team and own the booking program for our roster artists here at Sonder Music Management.
A good candidate must be well-versed in the music scene and able to conduct thorough research to fill in any gaps in knowledge. This role requires someone nimble and passionate about local music, and this person must stay up to date on developing stories and trends in the national scene. This position reports to our Director of Operations, Mac Bowman.
Duties:
* Managing our booking team.
*Working closely with our management team to understand each artists’ goals, needs, and holistic, long-term plan.
* Researching, locating and securing appropriate venues, festivals, and opportunities for our artists to perform at.
* Fostering strong relationships with talent buyers, promoters, artists, artist’s representatives, media organizations, state and county event organizers, and more.
* Negotiating contracts and riders between our artists and venues.
* Maintaining up-to-date records in our databases of contacts for venues, festivals, media sources, etc.
* Cross-selling all Sonder Music Management artists
* Matching our artists with fitting venues, festivals and audiences.
* Routing tours and understanding budgeting to make tours profitable
* Maintaining a thorough understanding of genres and working bands across the country
Requirements:
* Must be passionate about live music, as well as knowledgeable about artists, genres, venues, festivals, and tools of the trade.
* Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
* Must be extremely detail and deadline-oriented and able to work on multiple tasks at once.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Must be comfortable working in a remote/virtual environment and using collaborative online tools.
* Music, music business, marketing, sales, or related background a plus
* Must be professional in all settings

* As a Management Coordinator, your duties will vary from day to day based on what’s needed in our fast-moving industry.
* Supporting our Band Managers with assigned tasks, which can vary but include sending emails, capturing content at shows, scheduling social media posts, coordinating with our booking and social media teams, bringing fresh ideas to the table, writing and editing press releases, securing PR opportunities, adding dates to online calendars, handling tour-related tasks like finding lodging and transportation, organizing DOS schedules, networking, and more!

We’re seeking a Social Media Coordinator for the Sonder Music Management Team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about both the music scene and social media. The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in our dynamic team and will gain experience wearing many hats and working in several different aspects of the music industry.
Collaborating closely with our Management and Booking Teams, the Social Media Coordinator will support the social media programs for our Sonder Music Management social media and that of our roster artists here at Sonder Music Management.

This role requires someone nimble and passionate about local music, and this person must stay up to date on developing trends and strategies in social media. This position reports to our Director of Operations.
Duties
* Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
* Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
* Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
* Attend events and produce live social media content.
* Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
* Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
* Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
* Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
* Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
* Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
* This role may require late-night and weekend hours.
Social Media Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:
* Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
* Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
* Excellent social listening skills
* Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
* Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
* Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
* Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
* Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
* 1-3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
* Direct experience using social media management tools
* Experience with Google Suite (Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus

Sonder Music Management is seeking a Podcast Producer to join our team, collaborating with Sarah Shuel and Mac Bowman on the Sonder Music Management Podcast.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the Colorado music scene, possess strong editorial judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. This is a hybrid in-person/remote role and offers perks such as backstage access to concerts and the opportunity to network in the Colorado music industry and to help shape the show's editorial direction.
Responsibilities include:
Owning the creation of the Sonder Music Management Podcast in collaboration with Sarah Shuel and Mac Bowman
Working collaboratively with a small production team, including host and editor
Attending biweekly editorial and production meetings and providing guidance on story/topic/guest selection
Facilitating regular evaluation and feedback on show’s creative direction and execution
Setting and planning long-range podcast-specific editorial calendar
Working with members of the podcast team and others on audience engagement, growth and podcast-specific marketing
Identifying and executing affiliate marketing opportunities that work with the podcast’s audience
Requirements:
Strong editorial and news judgement
Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to delegate and prioritize
Ability to oversee and structure a relevant, compelling, and unique audio story
Ability to work with and lead a collaborative production team and help guide and shape the editorial direction
Can work independently and in a team environment
Experience developing, executing and leading an efficient production schedule
A knack for delivering clear, conscientious feedback on both stories, performance, and overall execution
A sense of humor and strong work ethic
Desire to grow with Sonder Music Management
