Local Colorado Concerts This Weekend: November 1-3, 2019
There are always so many concerts to choose from in Colorado! No matter where you are - Denver, one of our many beautiful Colorado mountain towns, Fort Collins, Greeley, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, or anywhere in between - there’s no shortage of live music. Here at Sonder, we love local - and while you can see lots of National acts rolling through, we like to focus on those musical cats that are from our great state of Colorado. Here are our local Colorado concert picks for November 1-3, 2019.

Silver And Smoke at The Alley
Littleton, CO
Tonight is an incredible chance to see four-piece, blues-rock, Denver up-and-comer Silver And Smoke in an intimate environment for free. The band is heading just south of Denver to The Alley, an up-and-comer itself, in Historic Downtown Littleton for a three-hour set, during which they’ll be playing their beloved originals and a good mix of fan-favorite covers. No doubt, Silver And Smoke will bust out their hit song “Beer and Tacos,” since they’ll be playing at a tried-and-true Mexican Fusion joint, where they do indeed have beer and tacos (and tequila).
Not only is this an intimate, no cover show at a rockin’ venue (no really, be sure you don’t leave your dancing shoes at home. Don’t think it won’t be a party because it’s a restaurant), it’s also your last chance to see Silver And Smoke in 2019. Their next show is their debut headline appearance at Denver’s historic Bluebird Theater on January 2nd, 2020 with Two Faces West and special guests yet to be announced. You may purchase fee-free tickets to that show from the band tonight.
The other great thing about this show is that it supports a local community establishment - and you can too when you come out for some great grub, some great tunes, and some great tequila.

Post Halloween Night with Poets & Wolves and Native Station at Confluence Garage
Lafayette, CO
This show has it all - four local artists all from different genres playing an all ages show to help us recover from the post-Halloween-withdrawal blues. Get there early for the grunge/garage rock sounds of The Sogs and the death rock/horror punk of The Midnight Horrors, then stay late for alt-rock outfit Native Station and Indie-Dance-Pop sensation Poets & Wolves. The thing is, the four-piece band Poets & Wolves out of Greeley has always been extremely supportive all over the Colorado music scene - Let’s all head out to Confluence Garage in Lafayette and show these great musicians what their support means to us!

The Sky Choice Band at Rackhouse Pub
Denver, CO
The four-piece folk-pop-rock group known as The Sky Choice Band is another Denver up-and-comer growing through playing in and around the greater Denver area. Tomorrow night, they’re taking over the popular Rackhouse Pub in RiNo with their signature sound.
The Sky Choice Band is on a roll after releasing their debut EP, “Flight,” earlier this year in a feel-good night of music at Lost Lake with a killer local lineup that featured Silver And Smoke, McKnight, and The Barrelors. Make sure you head over and give it a listen - you won’t regret it!
If you’re looking for a lower-key evening to cap off your Halloween week, join The Sky Choice Band for some folk-pop-rock originals and some fun covers, while you play larger than life bar games, drink some local brews, enjoy a lofted bar, and order some excellent food.

The Motet with Tauk, Con Brio at Mission Ballroom
Denver, CO
Was there ever a more perfect night of funk music? Maybe a few, but this one is certainly up there! Denver’s funk-dance giant, The Motet, is partnering up with 97.3 KBCO and Meow Wolf to bring us Meow at the Moon at Denver’s newest (and crazy beautiful) venue, Mission Ballroom. They’re joined by New York’s Rock-Fusion band Tauk and Con Brio, a seven-piece energetic soul/rock/R&B outfit out of San Francisco. Surprisingly, there are still tickets out there for this show, so go now and get your hands on them before they’re gone. I’m serious.
