How to Directly Help Every Music Venue in Colorado

This holiday season, let’s remember that it’s not about the material things. Some of the best gifts are experiences, and our local Colorado music scene offers a wide variety for you to choose from. They need your help now more than ever - so if you’re feeling generous - support some of our local Colorado music venues this Christmas. Many of these gifts can be ordered today to go under the tree tonight, and by making purchases from our venues, you’re supporting the entire musical ecosystem. This income will help these stages survivie, which gives us all the gift of music for years to come. Here’s our giant list of how you can monetarily and non-monetarily support every single music venue in Colorado.

We are so lucky to have a massive number of music venues and I’m sure we missed some here. If you own or know of a venue that’s not on this list, let us know in the comments, along with ways people can support them during the pandemic.

The Aggie Theatre (Fort Collins, CO)

theaggietheatre.com/

Shortly after The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins made its triumphant return to live, in-person, socially distanced shows, the current guidelines shut them down again. Luckily, there are a few ways you can support this jewel in crown of the Fort Collins music scene. First, make sure you follow them on Facebook and Instagram so that you can get timely updates on new shows and re-opening. Then, check out the killer shows they have lined up for spring. If you want to go the extra mile, become a season pass holder to help support them through 2021.

Animas City Theatre (Durango, CO)

animascitytheatre.com/

The Animas City Theatre is one of the most historic and beloved music venues in southwestern Colorado. They have been closed since the very first stay-at-home order. Let’s help them generate some revenue so that they can open up again and remain a mainstay of the southern Colorado music scene. In addition to following them on Facebook and Instagram to show your support, you can also purchase gift cards by filling out the form here or by calling 970-799-2281. The Theatre also shares a building and ownership with Cuckoos Chicken House (I’ve eaten there - it’s delicious), who is open for takeout. If you’re local to Durango, make sure you order from them once in a while to support two local businesses.
