Silver And Smoke at The Little Bear Saloon Halloween Party
Evergreen, CO
Celebrate Halloween a little differently this year with music in the mountains! Silver And Smoke has had a busy Halloween week already, playing last weekend at The Walnut Room with Elder Grown, FLATGOAT, and Eleanor Nash and the Ramblers. They’re keeping the party going tonight with a free show at the iconic Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen, Colorado. The Little Bear is throwing their official Halloween Party tonight, so make sure you throw on your best costume, complete with dancing shoes!
The Little Bear Saloon has tons of western charm, but has been hosting live music for more than 40 years - providing a stage for some of the largest acts to come through Colorado. Want to give Silver And Smoke a listen on the drive? Here you go.
If you want to keep your Halloween going even longer, you can catch Silver And Smoke again tomorrow night at The Alley in Littleton, Colorado. The Alley specializes in Mexican-fusion cuisine and fine tequilas, so if you do celebrate either Halloween or Dia de Los Muertos, you’ll be in good company.

In The Whale’s Monster Mosh at The Marquis Theater
Denver, CO
If you’ve been in Denver for a while, you’ve no doubt heard of In The Whale and seen them live - so I don’t have to tell you what a killer performance these guys put on! The 8-year-old band has amassed a huge following, playing monster festivals like Riot Fest, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and AfroPunk, and last year released a six-track EP titled “Dopamine,” which made it onto the Billboard Heatseekers, Independent Albums, and Heatseekers Mountain (#1) Charts. It’s pretty exciting that you have the chance to see them in such an intimate setting as Live Nation’s Marquis Theater. (Don’t forget to grab a slice once you’re there. I have so many fond memories of seeing shows like Tickle Me Pink at the Marquis when I was just 16 or 17, before the Denver Music Scene transformed into what it is today).
Add to that the fact that you get to see The Trujillo Company, one of my favorite local Denver bands, open for them, and you’ve got yourself one solid Halloween night of music. The Punk/Hardcore/Rock Hellgrammites are an added bonus!

Don’t miss your chance to see Sarah’s exceptional talent!

This year, they’re throwing their 2nd Annual Halloween Party at Globe Hall, performing as Tenacious D. They’re joined by Coastal Wives (playing as Counting Brow’s) Dirty Rotten Rhymers (playing as Beastie Boys), and Sex Tapes.
